From private homes to commercial
properties: The Terxon SX from
ABUS Security-Center provides
the right level of security. Eight
freely programmable zones are at
your disposal for installing wired
detectors. The ninth zone is pre-
congured as an tamper zone.
Programming and operating are
conveniently done via the remote
LCD keypad (in delivery kit). In
the event of an alarm, a switching
output for the sounder and one for
the ashing light can be activated.
Nine additional transistor outputs
are available on the Terxon SX
board. You can use these to control
other external components (e.g.:
a speech dialer). You have also
several options for operating the
Terxon SX: Via a PIN code and
proximity chip key on the keypad,
or by simply turning the key in the
key-switch. In combination with
the Terxon 2WAY module, you can
even integrate wireless detectors
and control components.

Terxon SX alarm panelArming made to order
One option is to activate the sy-
stem via the LCD keypad. These
keypads can be installed at se-
veral entrances and in protected
outside areas (IP54), so that it
remains possible to access the
house in several different ways.
The add-on keypad can also be
used in multi-story buildings.
The quickest and easiest way
to arm or disarm the Terxon is
to use the proximity chip key.
Simply hold the key in front of
the keypad (no need to make
contact).
Another easy and secure method
is to arm/disarm using the
key-switch, which can also be
installed in the outside area.
Depending on the situation and what your wants or needs are, you
have three convenient ways to arm/disarm the Terxon.

Terxon SX + Terxon 2WAY module =
bi-directional wireless for wired alarms
With the new Terxon 2WAY module, you can integrate all of the bi-
directional wireless components of the Secvest 2WAY into the Terxon. This
gives you countless new possibilities. You can arm and disarm the Terxon
SX at the push of a button via the bi-directional wireless remote control of
the Secvest 2WAY, for example. Four integrated LEDs always show you the
current status of the system.
The following components of the Secvest 2WAY can be integrated via the
Terxon 2WAY module: Wireless remote control, wireless keypad, wireless
key-switch, Secvest key, wireless outside and inside sounders (seepage
140).
