UVV cash point-certied video surveillance products are used in banks,
jewellery shops and in security-oriented areas. The VBG in Hamburg
monitors and tests video monitoring products for safety and image
quality in its own testing institute. The Employer‘s Liability Insurance
Association regulation for cash points BGV C9 establishes the „requirements for
optical room monitoring systems“ for credit and money changing institutions.
As a company in the German Insurance Association (GDV), the VdS
damage prevention center is the independent certication center for
security technology in Germany. With its strict certication guidelines, the VdS
ensures the products are high-quality products, which guarantee the best
results and security.
The VSÖ certicate is granted by the Austrian Association of
Security Corporations. This neutral association stands for preserving and
improving the general security in Austria and its certication conrms the high
security standard of alarm and video products.
The INCERT certicate is a quality standard for alarm products, which is
especially important in Belgium. No alarm products may be sold in
that country without INCERT approval. INCERT certicates are considered a
prerequisite for further certication in many EU countries.
Since 1994, NCP (National Center for Prevention) has been
certifying burglar and re alarm products for the Netherlands
market. NCP certication is not granted based on any existing certication of a
product, but only after precise testing of its features. The certication is based
on precise tests of the properties and safety of the products.
As part of the certication process, F&P ensures compliance with the
documentation and regulations for manufacturing and operating alarm and re
alarm systems in Denmark.
The 2WAY logo designates bi-directional wireless alarm centers
and components. The current status of the center (armed/
disarmed) can be displayed at any time at the push of a button.
H.264 is a standard for highly efcient video compression, especially
for high resolution image data. The data rate and memory
requirement are considerably reduced compared to other compression
methods.
European standard EN54 establishes product requirements for safe
smoke detectors, re alarm systems, etc.
